Ioan Niculae a venit la DIICOT, în legătură cu dosarul Romgaz-Interagro

Omul de afaceri Ioan Niculae a venit la DIICOT, fiind citat în dosarul Romgaz-Interagro, în care este urmărit pentru instigare la abuz în serviciu şi spălare de bani, alături de fostul ministru al Economiei Adriean Videanu.

Ioan Niculae a fost chemat de procurori în legătură cu efectuarea expertizei în acest dosar.

Inițial, omul de afaceri a fost pus sub acuzare de procurorii DIICOT, alături de alte 40 de persoane, funcționari publici cu funcții de conducere din SNGN Romgaz, Ministerul Economiei, Autoritatea Națională de Reglementare în Domeniul Energiei și reprezentanți ai unei societăți comerciale din București, pentru săvârșirea infracțiunilor de complot și subminarea economiei naționale.

Acuzațiile au fost schimbate apoi în sustragere de sub sechestru, instigare la abuz în serviciu și spălare de bani.

Ulterior, procurorii DIICOT au extins urmărirea penală în dosarul Romgaz și l-au pus sub acuzare pe Ioan Niculae pentru că a înstrăinat mai multe bunuri pe care procurorii instituiseră sechestru asigurător, ajutat de Domnița Niculae (fosta soție), Adina Elena Niculae (fiică) și Nicoleta Mariana Toncea (actuala iubită).

În sarcina învinuiților se reține că au desfășurat activități infracționale care au produs un prejudiciu de 126 milioane de dolari patrimoniului SNGN Romgaz SA și bugetului consolidat al statului și au avut drept consecință punerea în pericol a sistemului energetic național.

Procurorii susțin că persoanele puse sub acuzare au aprobat livrarea de către Romgaz a unor cantități considerabile de gaze naturale către societatea InterAgro, deținută de Ioan Niculae, la prețuri mult diminuate față de cele practicate de Romgaz, cu eludarea reglementărilor legale în materie, precum și menținerea facilităților acordate societății, în condițiile în care înregistra datorii semnificative la plata gazelor furnizate.

Se mai reține că activitatea infracțională a generat imposibilitatea repartizării de către Romgaz a rezervelor necesare pentru realizarea programului național de înmagazinare și creșterea importului de gaze naturale, cu consecința punerii în pericol a Sistemul Energetic Național, ca ramură strategică a economiei naționale și subminării economiei naționale, arată DIICOT.
